Watch Hill oceanfront

Watch Hill is the true oasis away from all stress and worries you've been looking for. Located right on the beach on Great Guana Cay, this beautiful cottage is set upon a bluff giving you stunning 180 degree views to the Atlantic Ocean. Yet, it is only a couple of minutes to walk to the Sea of Abaco Side of the island. Watch Hill offers impeccable vacation living at its finest. Enjoy this perfect location, the white powder sand beaches, the wonderful people, fresh culinary delights, some of the best fishing in the Bahamas, water sports, etc.. You will fall in love with the relaxed, friendly island atmosphere the minute you arrive. The famous Nipper’s Beach Bar is only ten minute walk along the beach from Watch Hill. There you can sip at the frozen Nipper Juice and party, or simply enjoy a delicious Bahamian meal outside or inside the airconditioned restaurant. You deserve it!

Our home provides three bedrooms with a bathroom each. You can go to sleep with the hypnotic sound of the ocean lapping at the shore, and after a long and rejuvenating sleep, you can bring your coffee to bed, where you can watch the ocean and feel the warm, tropical breeze caress your skin through the open sliding door. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor, each with queen beds, while the master bedroom is located upstairs, with a king size bed and a little porch with table and chairs. You will probably find sleeping/resting one of your favorite pastimes after exploring the island and surrounding waters all day. We updated the living area and totally redid the kitchen in December 2018. All appliances are new and the kitchen is now is a cook's dream! With beautiful and comfortable furniture, along with a leather recliner, you are able to watch your favorite shows on the 65" LG OED television with Direct TV, (and ALL sports channels!), Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. There is also Internet access, of course. The large deck area overlooking the deep blue/teal colors of the Atlantic Ocean offers possibilities for outdoor entertainment. Another sitting area on the lawn under the palm trees are overlooking the ocean as well.

We hope that you will feel the same enthusiasm and sense of peace that captured us when we first came to Guana Cay and discovered Watch Hill. As a photographer, I've been around the world and have experienced many locales that claim serenity and peace. We purchased Watch Hill simply because we fell in love with it. Come give it try!
